Supporting growth without losing your DNA.

A controlled project in service of our ambition.

We wanted a space that truly reflects who we are. Factory translated our culture, our energy, and our hands-on approach into a workspace that is both unifying and high-performing. This new headquarters is a genuine driver for our growth and for strengthening team cohesion. All of this, delivered with pinpoint project management.

Thomas Effantin
President – Co-Founder of TRUSK

TRUSK, a committed player in urban logistics.

Founded with the ambition of revolutionizing last-mile delivery, TRUSK turns 10 in 2026 and is entering a strong phase of structuring and growth. To support this development, the company made the strategic decision to acquire its own building, affirming a long-term vision for its organization and culture.

Factory's first mission was to understand TRUSK's ambition and map out the contours of their future real estate operation. And that's something we know how to do! Once the project was clearly defined, everyone got to work hunting. It was through the Saint-Ouen city hall that the building was identified. What followed was an intensive phase in which Factory took charge of the financial and technical negotiations. It was no small feat: the project had everything going for it, but several major hurdles had to be cleared a change of use for the space (originally designed to become a gym), the challenge of decoupling the technical infrastructure from the adjoining building, and negotiating the price with an owner who wasn't necessarily looking to sell. In the end, the deal came through: a raw shell to be entirely fitted out according to their vision, at a competitive purchase price.

More than an office: a collective engine.

Located in Saint-Ouen, a territory already familiar to the teams, this new headquarters was set to become much more than a simple workplace: a true base camp, capable of bringing the TRUSK "pack" together, supporting operational performance, and embodying the brand's identity with some strong assets:

A tailor-made building.

A space entirely conceived by our teams to concretely express TRUSK's DNA, aligning strategy, usage, and identity in every square meter.

A footprint designed to absorb future growth.

A size that is anticipated and optimized to accommodate workforce growth without disrupting the organization or losing cohesion.

A reversible project, should TRUSK's real estate strategy evolve.

An agile design led in collaboration with our client, integrating flexibility and adaptability to secure long-term decisions.

A location in a rapidly evolving neighborhood of Saint-Ouen.

A strategic choice identified and negotiated by Factory, allowing TRUSK to establish roots in a dynamic area in line with its growth ambitions.

Creating a space in the image of the pack.

The challenge was multifaceted. TRUSK wanted to support headcount growth 70 employees in Île-de-France within a building spread across several floors, without compromising team cohesion. The goal was also to design agile and hybrid spaces capable of meeting the diverse needs of its various departments (tech, operations, dispatch, support functions), while making the headquarters a true brand statement, immediately legible from the entrance and a genuine carrier of its identity.

Beyond functionality, the ambition was to transform a new building into an embodied space one that teams could immediately make their own, capable of telling TRUSK's story: its values and its playground of roads, logistics, and movement. The central challenge was clear: preserve the pack spirit, despite the building's verticality and the multiplicity of uses.

A 360° Factory response. From real estate strategy to experience design.

Factory accompanied TRUSK from the very first site visits, with a holistic approach combining real estate strategy, programming, design, user experience, and delivery.

Drawing from a close analysis of the building light, flow, technical constraints and an immersion into the teams' daily reality, the project was structured around three core principles: maximizing first-day spaces to set up open-plan areas and enhance visual comfort; organizing the floors as human-scale units to streamline communication and clarify team layout; and creating powerful communal spaces capable of sustaining collective momentum.

The ground floor was designed as a true beating heart, conceived with hospitality and events in mind: a strongly branded reception area, an agora dedicated to presentations and talks, a large communal table to bring the pack together, as well as an open kitchen extended by a landscaped terrace.

When design tells the story of the road.

To translate TRUSK's DNA into the space, Factory envisioned a strong concept: Crewbase_Trusk 2.0. Inspired by the world of logistics, miles traveled, and the protection of goods, the design draws on a raw and functional aesthetic: corrugated metal sheets, protective materials, carpet, cable trays, signage inspired by loading docks, and bold color blocks drawn from the brand's visual identity.

Every space becomes a fragment of a narrative: vertical circulation is transformed into experiential journeys. Restrooms, staircases, and technical cores become design spaces in their own right. Workspaces integrate pods, hybrid workstations, and informal zones, fostering both focus and collaboration. The headquarters thus becomes a storytelling tool, in service of TRUSK's culture.

The Future At Work in action. Hybrid uses, designed to last.

The project fully embodies the Future At Work vision championed by Factory: agile open-plan spaces that foster collective work, while integrating withdrawal zones, such as a large island dedicated to individual work.

It also relies on hybrid and hot-desk workstations, adapted to new working rhythms, as well as a multiplication of small meeting rooms and acoustic pods, allowing for varied and on-demand needs to be met.

Finally, the project incorporates a reuse philosophy, with existing furniture carefully customized, in a ReUse and resource rationalization approach. The space thus becomes a true functional support adaptable and capable of accompanying TRUSK's future growth.
