### Factory welcomes Charlotte Billot to strengthen our commitment to sustainability.
A dedicated intrapreneur, she brings 15 years of experience in responsible sourcing, circular economy, and sustainable innovation. Welcome aboard to help us build an ambitious, pragmatic… and measurable CSR strategy!

After starting her career in bartering, she founded UpTrade, a digital material library dedicated to fabric reuse in the fashion industry. For six years, she developed a hands-on approach to ecological transition, closely aligned with operational and business challenges.

She now supports Factory, sharing our entrepreneurial culture, in embedding sustainability at the very heart of our growth.

### Her mission?
To structure Factory’s CSR strategy and lead our response to our clients’ sustainability expectations—whether or not they are subject to the CSRD.

### Her strength?
A pragmatic and structured vision of ecological transition, combined with solid experience in project management, CSR data, and circular innovation—not to mention her energy and curiosity!

### Our shared ambition?
Factory is growing, regulations are becoming more complex, and so are our clients’ expectations. It's a fascinating challenge that calls for a clear and measurable roadmap. After completing our carbon footprint and supporting many clients in their own journeys, we’re now beginning in-depth work with Charlotte on our Ecovadis scorecard, double materiality matrix, and the formalization of our medium- and long-term commitments.

The goal: to be ready and transparent—for today and tomorrow!

Southern Italy is not just a destination. It’s an ambition.

We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new office in Rome, led by Paolo Stopponi, who will oversee Factory’s expansion in Southern Italy.

Paolo brings 30 years of experience in architecture and design. He knows the landscape, the local challenges, and the dynamics of Italian workplaces and cities. He has led ambitious transformations, reimagined workspaces, and delivered projects deeply rooted in the reality on the ground. Most importantly, he possesses a rare ability: to see the big picture without losing sight of the details. That’s what made us want to build with him.

So, why Rome? And why now?

Because the South is moving. It’s creating, innovating — and we believe the future of work is being shaped wherever there is talent, ambition, and a desire to push boundaries.

With Paolo, our ambition is clear:

• Strengthen our presence in Southern Italy
• Provide tailored solutions for local businesses
• Design workspaces that serve both users and organizations

Milan Design Week 2025

Our experience design team, led by Fabio Scotto di Clemente, returned from Milan with a strengthened conviction:

Emotion, storytelling, and sensoriality are the new materials of design.

Two installations particularly stood out for Fabio:

Lavazza – Coffee as an Immersive Ritual

In an enveloping scenography, Lavazza transformed a daily gesture – drinking coffee – into a cultural, poetic, and almost spiritual experience.

A delicate mist rose from the center of the installation, where a cool shower evoked rainfall in a tropical forest. The humidity in the air, the scent of coffee and damp earth, and the muffled sound of droplets created a multisensory immersion that resonated with our instinctive memory.

Why is this new?
Because space is no longer just about function. It speaks to all the senses, activates deep sensory memory, and reinvents ritual as a bodily experience.

Google – Emotional Technology

Google surprised visitors with an installation full of softness and humility: no overwhelming screens, just light and physical interaction.
Here, you could literally touch the light. Beams responded to movement and presence, creating a sensory dialogue between the human and the space. The soundscape, both hypnotic and enveloping, added a near-meditative dimension to the technological experience.

Why is this new?
Because it’s a fluid, emotional, almost invisible tech. Instead of dominating, it adapts to gestures, soothes the mind, and creates a sensitive connection with the environment. The space becomes an intuitive interface, a sensory refuge.

At Factory, these two experiences reinforced our belief: the future of design lies in controlled sensory intensity.
In a world saturated with information and visuals, innovation means bringing bodies back into space, touching emotions, and awakening deep perceptions.

We don’t just design functional or aesthetic spaces.
We shape places that are lived in, felt, and remembered.
Places that leave a mark because they resonate with who we are deep down: sensitive beings.

Experience design is no longer a bonus – it’s at the heart of how we think about interior architecture.

Our teams are currently at the Workspace Expo to discuss the future of workspaces and share our expertise in tertiary design. 

We had the pleasure of hosting a conference on neuroscience in front of a packed audience. A fascinating topic that sheds light on how our environments influence our well-being and performance.

After welcoming Jean Marc Deshaires for the creation of the real estate consulting division, we are delighted to expand our offering with the arrival of Claudio Ceresa and Philippe Sourdois.

Factory confirms its ambition to strengthen its presence in Europe by leveraging its expertise in real estate and space planning. Building on its success in France, Factory meets the growing needs of the Italian market with an innovative approach focused on user experience.
